Beautiful Quartz Countertops with White Cabinets

Posted on Countertop Design

Granite is an igneous rock of great beauty, whose basic composition is quartz countertops with white cabinets, feldspar and mica, which give it a very high hardness and great resistance to abrasion. It is also completely recyclable, ecological and easy to maintain. That is why it is a great alternative for the work surface of the kitchen, which requires a great resistance to daily dealings and an important ally when preparing food.

But the aesthetic limitations of granite are in the colors and shades that can be found and that do not always fit in the modern and avant-garde designs of many kitchens today.  That is why the success of quartz countertops with white cabinets is based on its great variety of colors and finishes that granite cannot offer.

However, despite efforts to create an artificial product from a mixture of pure quartz, pigments and resins with characteristics similar to or even superior to natural granite, the weak point of quartz countertops with white cabinets is its lower resistance to direct heat, although it is easy to solve if, for example, a support table is used. So the dilemma is to decide for the granite if the design is the right one and the functionality or for the quartz is valued more if we are willing to sacrifice some comfort in favor of the appearance.
