To change the size of the bed, use longer or wider cubby units and adjust the length of the slats as necessary. The planks are anchors, so they must be adjacent to each other on the walls of the cubbies: one at the top and bottom of the side walls of the cubic cubby, one at the top and bottom of the sides adjacent to the cubic cubby, on the inside of the long cubby units. Screw the Cubby storage unit together with the pre-drilled holes.
